I think it’s safe as of today, to say that I feel the website is complete, and fully operational. Early on I tried to have the $BON page and tokenomics published before anyone was around to see them. I’m pretty sure I succeeded in that. From there I worked on creating the forums and the custom user interface and profile/community options. These elements have been by far the most time consuming parts of the website development. I got the forums working fair enough. And I was able to give the users some custome profile options. But using to different systems for the forums end and the user end created a ton of issues with syncing them to function well together. For the next couple of weeks, I created the “devtest” user account and explored the website from the front end as a user. I had to find the issues through exploration on the front end in order to know to fix them on the back end. It took a bit, but I think I have the forums and the user experience fit together nicely. Next I gave the website a live chatroom box for the members, and I was able to install and configure a pretty simple yet nice instant messenger for members to use with each other. I configured a pretty good calendar to streamline events and dates. Got a Blog up and running as a “Developer’s Journal” so to speak. I was able to complete a pretty good selection of graphics and have been able to be consistent with the branding as I developed the social media pages on 3rd party platforms. One aspect that gave me a lot of issues was the color schemes of the overall website. Primarily the font colors for various things like body font, heading font, link font… Using many different plugins that display a lot of different things across the website can have its challenges. Here, several of the plugins have their own coding to override the color coding of the existing website protocols. That means that often times when a plugin is displaying data on the website, it will have a different color of font, size of font, and/or font family style. Rather than having to backend code css to override the plugin code, I focused on finding the right working pattern based on what I could configure on the dev on end of the website overall. I feel comfortable with it in its current state. It took a while to get it where it is now. Having the website to where I’m comfortable saying is complete, now means I can focus on the more dynamic content. Like writing these blog posts. I have made and populated the social medias, but I need to make a YouTube account also. I am going to make videos talking about various aspects of the project to explain it quickly and easily to newcomers. I’ll embed these videos on the website as well. But my point here today is that I think I have all the fine tuning of the website done. I’ve done the beta testing and I’m comfortable with round 1. User feedback will see whats up in the future, but I’m ready for people to see and use the website.
